Julia Bae

Julia Bae is a junior at Winsor. Along with TEDx, she is involved with Winsor’s robotics team, school newspaper, and tennis team. Outside of school, she is interested in energy sustainability, applied math and sciences, and the intersection between economics and public policy. In her free time, she enjoys photography, spending time with friends and family, and listening to Taylor Swift.

Caroline Bae

Caroline is a senior at the Winsor School. She loves to sing and play field hockey, and she is involved with the Speech and Debate team and Student Equity Board. She has always been fascinated by the intersection of biotechnology, healthcare, and business. In her free time, she loves trying new smoothie places with friends, traveling, and going to Boston sports games.

Karla Sahin

Karla Sahin is a senior at Winsor. In addition to her work with TEDx, she is involved with the Winsor Robotics program, the Amnesty International student club, and the Student Equity Board. She is passionate about the advancement of renewable energy and sustainability technologies in the fields of electrical engineering and robotics. In her free time, she loves to play volleyball, hang out in cafés, and do Sudokus.

Elizabeth Fitzpatrick

Elizabeth Fitzpatrick is a junior at the Winsor school. Outside of Tedx, she loves to dance, listen to music, and spend time with her younger sisters and dogs. She is also a member of Winsor’s curling, Peer Support, Mock Trial, and Word Nerds clubs. She hopes to one day be fluent in French and referee the Women’s World Cup!

Zara Sword

Zara Sword is a sophomore at the Winsor School. She is a member of the school’s investment and venture capital club, and is very interested in finance and languages. She has been a dancer for 11 years at the Boston Ballet School and is very passionate about ballet. In her free time, Zara loves to read, paint, and browse cute stationery shops.

Demira Parekh

Demira Parekh is a sophomore at the Winsor School. She is passionate about dance, violin, and computer programming. She enjoys coding in different languages to create apps, games, and websites. Demira is also very active in fundraising, and is currently working on a fundraiser to support women and newborns in rural areas of India. In her free time, Demira loves reading, listening to music, writing poetry, and traveling.

Hannah Minn is a sophomore at Winsor. She is a member of the school’s Model UN, Students Advocating for Fine Arts, and Speech and Debate clubs. She also plays field hockey, ice hockey and tennis. In her free time, she enjoys completing the New York Times games, painting and spending time with her friends.
